A medical marijuana provider chased a suspect who attempted to uproot the provider’s backyard bounty early Monday before police arrested him, officials said.
It happened about 4:40 a.m. in the 300 block of Willa Lane SE, Salem Police Lt. Steve Birr said. A man walked by the home of a licensed medical marijuana provider and reportedly smelled the plants, Birr said. When the man crept into the backyard and then began picking, the provider confronted the intruder, Birr said. Michael Charles Cormier, 51, was arrested on robbery charges stemming from the struggle, Birr said. A second suspect is at large. Police described the man as white, 5 feet 7 inches and 150 to 160 pounds wearing a baseball cap. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...marijuana.html |
