Another unusually drug bust was made by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers on Monday.
Officers working at the Antelope Wells port of entry in southwestern New Mexico found 11 pounds of marijuana hidden in several pickled jalapeno jars. The discovery was made around 9 a.m. when the driver of van was towing at trailer into the country from Mexico. An officer found the jars of jalapeno's in a box. When the jars were opened, a brick of marijuana was inside surrounded by jalapenos. A total of six jars with marijuana were seized. The driver, from Glendale, Arizona, was arrested. This is the second time in three days that officers find drugs in strange places.
