Doha - The criminal court heard a case of drug trafficking in which two men are accused of possessing four kilogrammes of hashish and QR 100,000 which is believed to be generated from drug trafficking.
The court, which was headed by Judge Mamoun Hamour, heard a witness in the case on Wednesday, Al Sharq reported yesterday. The witness from the anti-drug committee told the court that the second accused was arrested after his office received a tip-off. After inspection, the witness added, large quantities of hashish and bottles of beer were found as well as a sum of QR 100,000 believed to be generated from drug trafficking business. When the second accused person was asked if the seized hashish belonged to him, he admitted, adding that he received it from a notorious drug dealer. On the first accused, the witness said that some suspicious drugs were found in his pocket besides a sum of QR30,000. "Then, the accused guided us to the rest of drugs which were hidden in his car." Asked why the accused persons possessed such a huge quantity of drugs, the witness said they were involved in drug trafficking, adding that such a quantity was considerable amount. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...g-hashish.html |
