Questions are being raised about marijuana that was left in a Bethune Cookman University security evidence locker for more than five months.
Agents with the Department of Agriculture questioned security officers from Allegiance Security, Wednesday. BCU contracts with Allegiance to provide security services. The agents said they found several bags of packaged marijuana they believe were likely seized by the security company on campus. The pot should have been turned over to police. One agent said the marijuana was intentionally stored and may have been enough to sell. Another investigator called it a procedural mistake. Security guards with Allegiance said they didn't know they were required to turn it over to authorities. BCU officials said they have not been contacted by the Department of Agriculture and will conduct their own investigation http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...niversity.html |
