Firefighters discovered a large marijuana grow-op in a St. Henri home while putting out an electrical fire around noon yesterday. Police seized between 400 and 500 marijuana plants from the house on St. Ferdinand St. and Notre Dame St. W. The grow-op's estimated value is more than $500,000, including cultivation equipment, Montreal police Constable Benoit Couture said. The cause of the fire is believed to be directly related to the marijuana cultivation. No arrests have been made.
