A £2 moss phlox plant led to an elderly couple having their house raided on suspicion of being a drug den. Ivor and Margaret Wiltshire, in their seventies, came home to find their door smashed in. A note from the drugs squad explained that the house in Bristol had been mistaken for a cannabis factory. The couple were told that the pungent phlox in the garden had led to the raid.
