Madera county authorities say a major raid this morning prevented more than $7M worth of marijuana from hitting the streets.
State and Federal agents raided three gardens in the foothills of Eastern Madera County. Rough terrain forced agents to use helicopters to remove bundles of pot plants. In all, they recovered 2,300 plants. This growing season, agents in Madera County have destroyed more than $27M worth of marijuana plants in two different eradication missions.
