There has been a definite crackdown of marijuana usage within WWE, which is not making many of the performers happy. The belief is that the drug testing is "serious", but the performers think management knows many people are drinking heavily and that painkiller use is high.

Drinking is fine by the policy and painkillers are fine with prescriptions, and the heavy marijuana users, who have been warned to cut back, are beginning to turn to drinking and painkiller again.
