Activists all over New Zealand are celebrating international J-Day today.
J-Day, part of an international protest against cannabis prohibition, will see activists making "collective acts of disorder" - smoking marijuana in public - around New Zealand, National Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) spokesman Danyl Strype said. About 150 were present at the Wellington event, where people were "sitting around smoking cannabis", he said. Events were taking place in all the main centres today from "high-noon till 4:20", Mr Stype said. The international day was about protesting current marijuana laws. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...w-zealand.html |
