Thousands came out Saturday afternoon to Toronto's Freedom Festival in support of legalizing marijuana.

The crowd gathered at Queen's Park North for the third annual festival, which featured music, film, and speakers.

The main attraction of the day was Toronto's marijuana march, which departed from Queen's Park at 2 p.m.

Over 260 cities world wide took part in the march.

Last year the Toronto march drew a crowd of 20,000 supporters.

An Angus Reed poll conducted last year showed that 53% of respondents were in favour of legalizing marijuana.
