Dozens of Marijuana supporters marched in Bakersfield Saturday afternoon ready to defend their right to use the drug for medicinal purposes.
The ralliers marched from Beach Park to the Liberty Bell in downtown Bakersfield. Medical marijuana operations are starting to resume in Kern County. The leaders of a local pro-legalization group says he knows of at least three groups planning to restart their operations as collectives and cooperatives. Sheriff Donny Youngblood is aware of the new operations and says he will be keeping an eye on them. But for some medicinal users, they say the drug is the only thing that helps them get through the day. Similar events were held across the country and world Saturday. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...erty-bell.html |
