A Delaware state Senator has introduced a bill that would legalize marijuana for medical uses.
The bill introduced Wednesday by Sen. Margaret Rose Henry would make marijuana available to patients with a doctor's prescription. She says it addresses a quality-of-life issue. The Wilmington Democrat says marijuana would be dispensed at "compassion care centers" that would be staffed by workers who've undergone criminal background checks. The Department of Health and Social Services would oversee the program. Patients would be issued identification cards and be limited to 6 ounces of marijuana a month. The state would also license centers to grow and sell marijuana to be sold for medicinal purposes. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...tion-bill.html |
