Police have seized 100 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $200,000, as well as a large amount of cannabis oil, resin and leaf, in a search of a hobby farm at Bocoble near Mudgee, Australia.
In yesterday morning's search, officers also seized equipment for growing cannabis hydroponically, a sawn-off rifle, two pistols and a large amount of cash. Inspector Spinks (the officer incharge of the investigation) says a 40-year old woman and 43-year old man have been refused bail to appear in the Mudgee Local Court today to face charges including cultivating plants in a house where two children live. "With the Government getting tougher on drug laws there's now a new offence in respect to cultivating plants inside a residence where there's children under 16 residing," he said.
