This May Pennsylvania joined the growing list of states to introduce some sort of medical marijuana legislation. HB1393, introduced by Rep. Mark Cohen (D-Philadelphia), is now seeking to provide much needed relief to Pennsylvania’s sick, severely injured, and dying.

The bill seeks to provide a state registry program that would allow a patient to grow up to six plants, and possess once ounce of usable cannabis. The program would also allow a patient’s caregiver the same protection, and would regulate compassion centers where patients could obtain their medicine.
