MORE than 5,000 cannabis plants have been discovered in one of the county's largest ever seizures at a Theydon Bois warehouse.
An Ingatestone man and another man, of no fixed abode, will appear in court this morning, both charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis. A Wickford man and another man from Romford have been released on bail pending further enquiries. Police seized the plants, worth more than £1 million in the raid on Friday November 6. Three large generators and associated hydroponic equipment were also seized by police. Western Division Commander Chief Supt Tim Stokes said the plants had been discovered when officers from Essex Police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency executed a search warrant. A 27-year-old man, Hai Van Doan, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and will appear at Harlow Magistrates Court today along with 44-year-old Michael Horsnell of Tor Bryan. Two other men, a 54-year-old man from Wickford, a 35-year-old from Romford were both bailed until February 15, 2010, pending further enquiries. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...abis-bust.html |
