BROCKTON — The search for a shooting suspect in Brockton has led to the discovery of a massive marijuana growing operation.
Police on Sunday seized nearly 500 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of about $500,000 during a raid on a Centre Street home. Authorities say it was the largest grow house ever seen in the city. Police searching for the suspect in a shooting last week smelled a strong odor of marijuana near the house and noticed that its windows were blacked out. Police obtained a search warrant after a police dog got a whiff of marijuana near the home. There were no people inside when the warrant was executed at about 5 p.m. on Sunday. Sgt. George Khoury says police are looking for at least three suspects, including the homeowner. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...-pot-bust.html |
