Northshore authorities say they have busted a massive indoor marijuana-growing operation.
State Police spokesman Trooper Nick Manale says that a collaborative effort by his agency, the Pontchatula Police Department and the DEA led to the discovery of the drug operation on Methvin Drive in Pontchatula. Manale says that after a tip to state police narcotics detectives three months ago, officials gathered enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for a trailer adjacent to the residence of Jack Methvin. Police say they found 1,206 marijuana plants growing inside the trailer and in a shed behind the trailer. According to Manale, the "grow" operation had an elaborate watering and heating system. Authorities charged Methvin with illegal cultivation of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and illegal possession of a firearm. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...-purveyor.html |
