Federal agents, acting on a tip, searched a semi-trailer delivering squash at a Rio Rico warehouse Tuesday night and guess what they found -- a whole-lotta weed.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement received a tip that the trailer looked out of place at the warehouse. After agents established surveillance of the truck, they agreed with the tipster that the truck was out of place and they conducted a search. What they found would make Cheech Marin weep. Agents recovered about 3,500 pounds of a "leafy green substance" from the truck, hidden in 156 vacuum sealed packages stashed beneath the squash. After running field tests, the agents determined the substance to be marijuana. We would argue that there are much easier (and much more fun) ways than running field tests to determine whether something is marijuana but that's probably why we're not federal agents. The weed, which was confiscated by ICE agents (single tear), has an estimated street value of about $7.6 million. No arrests were made. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...r-nogales.html |
