The owners of a Rogue River medical marijuana clinic have a new proposal for moving the business.
Under Bob and Cheryl Rabitoy's plan, they would move their Herbal Pain Management Center from 201 E. Main St. to 100 Depot St. and keep Magic Dragon shop, which critics say sells drug paraphernalia, at its current location at 104 E. Main St. In February, the Planning Commission denied the couple's plan to put both businesses under one roof at 100 Depot St. Opponents said the businesses don't belong together because the Dragon sells what they described as drug paraphernalia and the pain center is a medical marijuana clinic. Possession of marijuana remains illegal except for people who have obtained a medical marijuana card through a physician. The Rabitoys, who also want to open a cafe and sell clothing in the building at 100 Depot St., are scheduled to make their case to the City Council next week. The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25, in City Hall, 133 Broadway. The public will be offered time to speak about the proposal. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...ot-clinic.html |
