According to Jones County Sheriff Alex Hodge’s Facebook page, Jones County officials “rocked the Hebron/Summerland community.”

“Our team took a major chunk out of the marijuana market with a bust,” Hodge proclaims. “We are up to (a) total of 100 # on the marijuana bust ... in Hebron.”

The sheriff said that the Jones County Sheriff’s Department was continuing to investigate the case.

“More details coming soon,” he adds.

According to Shaunita Weathersby, the public relations spokesperson for the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, no information was being released to the media on Tuesday.

Weathersby said the department would conduct a press conference at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) where more details concerning the drug bust would be disclosed.
