Australia - A woman charged with drug possession in the aftermath of an underground drug bunker bust pleaded guilty in Tweed Heads Local Court yesterday.
Rebbeca Heath was with her young child at the Fernvale property when police executed a search warrant at 7.30am on March 31. Police searched a shed, which was being used as a residential-style dwelling and found a small bag filled with marijuana and tobacco. Heath was asked whether she wanted to declare anything else, but declined. Not long after, police drug dog “Wilson” found a bag of cannabis hidden beneath clothes in a cane basket. The Nimbin woman admitted ownership of the bag, which contained 121 grams of the drug. The mother of “a number of young children” was put on a 12-month good-behaviour bond and fined $76 in court costs for possession of a dangerous drug. Paul Ian Harris, the owner of the property, was charged with enhanced indoor cultivation of a prohibited plant for commercial purposes, plus possessing a prohibited drug after police allegedly found 380 cannabis plants growing in buried shipping containers. Harris, 41, will appear in a Lismore court on July 7. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...marijuana.html |
