Mount Union, Ia. — Emergency medical personnel who responded to a Lifeline alert activation in Mount Union on Monday morning did not find the patient subscriber, but they stumbled upon illegal plants inside the home.
That discovery was relayed to the Henry County sheriff's office, which in turn applied for a warrant and searched the home in the 200 block of West Railroad Street. Authorities said deputies found and seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana plants being cultivated inside the home. The plants were sent to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation laboratory for further analysis, said Sheriff Allen Wittmer. It remains unclear whether the Lifeline activation was a malfunction. No arrests have been made. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/in...ency-call.html |
