HOLLYWOOD, CA–(Marketwire – April 20, 2010) – 420 Magazine is pleased to announce that at 4:20 AM on 4/20/10 we will be launching our newly redesigned website www.420Magazine.com. We invite all our members, friends, and guests to visit us this upcoming International Holiday to help celebrate and spread the positive message of Cannabis and Hemp awareness. We’re debuting several new features, a dynamic new look, improved interactivity, and all while maintaining the same excellent 420 content.

History & Mission
Since 1993, The 420 Magazine community has existed to promote the repeal of all Cannabis prohibition laws and penalties throughout the world. Not another person should suffer incarceration or stigma because of these unjust laws.

The 420 Magazine community believes Cannabis prohibition will end as more people become aware of the true benefits of the plant. 420 Magazine is the vehicle that provides the scientific and anecdotal advice of Cannabis experts in the areas of cultivation, medical, social, and legal matters. Our community provides support to those bringing Cannabis awareness to the world.

The 420 Magazine community believes farmers should have the right to grow and profit from Industrial Hemp, one of the strongest, potentially bountiful, and most environmentally friendly substances on the planet. During the past 17 years we have dedicated our lives to establish ourselves as the online leader for creating Cannabis awareness.

Progress
As of this writing, fourteen states plus Washington, DC have created legal Medical Marijuana programs and thirteen states have decriminalized possession and use to some extent. Eighteen states are considering a medical program this year and six others have outright legalization legislation working their way through the system.

420 Magazine is proud to be the premier site for the dissemination of International Cannabis and Hemp News. For the past 17 years, we’ve been encouraging activists, members, and guests, to spread awareness of the utility and medicinal value of all things 420 related. We thank you for your participation and support over the years. Together, we will continue to make a difference, until we ultimately succeed as a community and the last of the unjust prohibitionary laws are repealed.
