Oklahoma City – A petition to put legalizing medical marijuana on the November ballot seems to have fallen short.

The organization Oklahomans for Health have been organizing signings and submitted their petition with 59,981 signatures. However, to be put on the ballot it required 65,987.

However, following state law, the Secretary of State office will send their findings to the Oklahoma Supreme Court to see if the gathered amount of signatures is sufficient to allow the question to move forward in the voting process.
